I have a love/hate relationship with these tires. I’ve had them on multiple cars over the years. No other tire I’ve tried has ridden as smooth and quiet while still offering the quick grip you’d expect from a more performance-oriented tire. Great wet weather performance as well. It feels like an ideal commuter tire. That said, I’ve yet to have a set last more than 40k miles without needing to be replaced (even with regular rotating.) This last set barely made it past 30k. Part of that is because my commute has changed toward a shorter stop-and-go on curvy, hilly roads. But that’s still pretty poor. That said they’re a great deal so I’m trying to decide whether or not to pull the trigger yet again . . .

Great tires from Yokohama! This is my third set of tires by Yokohama brand on my 1998 Honda CRV. The snow performance is excellent as well as wet/dry performance!

Great tire for the price. Very quiet ride and they handle great. I replaced the Michelin tire with these and they feel exactly the same.

This is a quality tire. The brand speaks for itself. Great mileage and a smooth ride. Excellent price. Can’t go wrong with this for a daily driver

They are great tires and the price was even better. If I had one complaint, it is that the road noise from them seems louder than my last tires; still five stars from me.

I’ve had these tires on my Honda Accord 2002 for years now and I have no complaints. I’m no car expert, so I’m not gonna comment on how they drive, etc. What I can say is that they’ve worked fine so far, no problems since they were installed and I would buy them again.

got a fresh alignment and balance on the tiresnew struts and tie rodsthese tires are as good as i wanted them to be. over the last 50 years i have had a few sets of Yokohamas never had a bad set.this camry a 2002, has always had intense front tire noise. i have replaced the axles and the wheel bearings.and at least 3 other sets of tires trying to find something quietto be fair i have only put about 1,000 miles on them. but so far they are actually quiet.do not know about extreme breaking or cornering…. just don’t do thattruth is i am very happy with these tires. they balanced out very nicely no vibration at alldid i mention they are quiet.they seem safe in rainstorms

Very pleased with these tires, and also Pep Boys in Newark ca did an outstanding job. I had a slight wobble in the steering wheel when you let it go, now smooth as butter!

Great tires! Got mounted and balanced with minimal weights (I mount tires in my own garage). My 2012 Prius rolls surprisingly quiet and soft again – just like a new car. Handling and high speed performance are also very good. You need to understand though – it’s not a racing track tire, but very balanced one for a daily drive. Recommend!

The original tires for my wife’s Forester were running low so I looked at replacements. These tires actually have a lower speed rating (T versus H) than the stock tires however they are the correct size. For reference, a T means the maximum safe speed to drive is 118 mph; an H denotes a safe speed of 130. Since my wife doesn’t regularly travel above 105 mph, these tires seemed like they’d be a good match ,,,. and I was right. The tires look fantastic on her car and are nearly silent when driving on the highway. They’re amazingly quiet and stick to the road tenaciously. The grip is apparent when driving through rain and, especially, wet pavement with either a painted or tarred surface. With the old tires, turning on those extra slippery surfaces would produce squealing, these tires produce no noise, just traction. I would purchase the Avid tires again in an instant as we’re very happy with the feel and performance. They been on for Forester for several months and have no apparent wear.

Excellent buy for the price point. Tires arrived without damage and are quiet, and smooth for a Toyota Camry. They look to be built well. There is no telling for tread life as it’s too early to know; but I’m trusting they will reasonably last. These specific tires are rated at 65k for tread life, but folks should realize that this is a general estimate. It all depends on how you drive, what roads you drive on, whether the tires are inflated properly, and so on. If they last 65k then great, if they last 50k, I’m satisfied considering the price paid. I always had good success with Yokohama, and don’t think this purchase will be any different.

Just purchased my second set of these as the first set lasted me for six years believe it or not. They’re still holding up but time to replace them. These tires are great in the rain, and great in the snow. If you could see how worn these tires are on my car and how they held up driving through a rain storm and through deep puddles you would be amazed. I’ve had Goodyears, Kumho’s, and some other brands on the car over the years but nothing has been a perfect match like the Yokohama’s are. I’m extremely particular about my tires as my other car I do racing with and when I want a tire I go for one that can handle what you want to throw at it. These are exactly those tires and knocking on wood can’t believe I’ve never had a flat in 6 years. Dang tires going outlast the life of my car at this rate.

There is nothing to bad to report. I bought these to put on the front of a 1974 Datsun 710 that is very fussy about it’s front tires. These tires are as good as any that Iv’e used in the past and cost less.

I bought these tires for my granddaughters impala. They last a long time and give good traction wet or dry even on snow and ice.

So far so good. I’ll update in a couple of months if it’s still good. If so, I’ll change my rAting from 3 to 5.

They work perfectly as advertised. Great in the mud and snow. Pretty quiet. Along with a 65k tread wear warranty. Hard to beat price.

Excellent traction and good for speeds up to 60mph. The sidewalls are a bit soft so any highway driving can be a bit challenging to keep a straight line. Most of my driving is highway driving and any wind gusts or passing semis or even cars can make your car sway a lot. I have had Uniroyal, Michelin, Douglas, and Cooper tires and these are the only ones I have had issues with on the highway which I am traveling 70mph plus. My bald Douglas tires handled better on the highway but no traction because the tread was so low.
