As reported in the latest issue of Tire Business Magazine (April 22, 2024), Southern Tire Mart L.L.C. based in Columbia, Miss., has secured the prestigious #1 ranking based on the full year of 2023 in North America’s largest commercial dealerships. With an outstanding $3,080.0 billion in commercial sales, Southern Tire Mart has once again demonstrated its unparalleled commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

But that’s not all – Southern Tire Mart has also claimed #1 in North America’s largest retreader for medium and heavy truck tires, reaffirming its position as an industry leader in tire solutions and services.

One of the key factors contributing to Southern Tire Mart’s success is its strategic partnership with Pilot Travel Centers L.L.C. In a significant expansion move, Southern Tire Mart and Pilot Travel Centers are collaborating to offer truck maintenance services under the Southern Tire Mart banner at over 30 Pilot Flying J truck stops across the country. This initiative, as outlined in Pilot Travel Centers’ 2024 forecast of operations, will expand the network of Southern Tire Mart at Pilot Flying J locations to over 85, providing customers with enhanced accessibility and convenience.

This partnership builds upon Southern Tire Mart’s commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions. Since striking a deal with Pilot Travel Centers in January 2021 to manage truck care maintenance facilities at 35 Pilot Flying J locations, Southern Tire Mart has been dedicated to providing top-notch service and support to truckers nationwide. These facilities, staffed with certified technicians, offer a comprehensive range of services including standard truck maintenance, lube services, and retail and national account sales.

But the growth doesn’t stop there! In addition to expanding their network with Pilot Travel Centers, Southern Tire Mart continues to prioritize expansion and service excellence. Pilot Travel Centers has announced plans to open 35 new travel centers and remodel over 75 locations across its network in 2024, further enhancing the trucking experience for customers across 44 states and six Canadian provinces.
