Horrible decision in choosing these set of tires for my 2005 Lexus IS300.Too much road noise, handling is bad it does not stick to the road, after a week of driving one of the tireswent flat on me with one nail. Still have not been able to fix it, it still loses air. I should have been sticking with theDunlop Direzza102s, I Was very happy with those. The reviews and saving money fooled me:(

Bought four of these for a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta GLI. Great improvement over the stock $220/each Continental Contiprocontacts.A brief example of the increase in grip is first and second gear pulls. (Car is stock)Stock Tires:1st Gear – Hard clutch drops spin the tires all the way to red line. Slow clutch out then hard acceleration will spin the tires to red-line starting around 2700 RPM.2nd Gear – 0.5 seconds of spin coming from red-line in first gear. Chirps the tires coming from 4-6k rpm from first.g-Force Sports:1st Gear – Minimal spinning on hard clutch drops. Will spin up to 3-4k then level out. No loss of traction while already in gear at any RPM level.2nd Gear – No chirping coming from red-line in 1st. No loss of traction in most conditions.Handling:- Noticed a decent increase in handling around sharp turns. Extended turns I noticed less responsiveness while making small corrections mid-turn. It gave a very “slushy” feeling that may be due to my cars suspension. Overall a nice improvement over stock tires.

Great tires.

I love these tires! Lots of grip in dry and wet. Many people say that they are noisy but they are actually quite a bit more quiet than my old tires.

I went looking for a good performance summer tire that had better tread wear and road manners for daily use, compared to my aggressive autocross tire setup I use for racing events. These have been an excellent purchase for that exact purpose.I switched to these after burning out my Toyo Proxes4 300 UTQG All-Seasons as my daily set of tires. They were ok…good road manners, excellent wet traction, but “meh” dry traction and looks. The Comp 2’s take all of that up a notch, including a better UTQG rating. Wet traction is the same, but dry traction is definitely higher. When they get past the point of grip, they are controlled and easy to get back on track. If I were to rate my Extreme Performance autocross tires (RE-71R’s for those who know, it’s a very high bar) as a 10, these are a solid 7. I would absolutely recommend these as a fun street tire. Some have complained about more noise, but this is a performance tire, so…what exactly did you expect?

Great tires! Stiff side walls with very responsive turn-in. Great dry traction. Superb wet traction and hydro-planing resistance (counter-intuitive for a summer tire).
