LT275/65R18 E ALL-TERRAIN T/A KO2

Decided to upgrade my tires from stock to these tires for my 2008 4Runner. I replaced the suspension before replacing the tires with Bilstein 5100 Shocks and Old Man Emu Coils. The 4Runner looks great and the ride is much better than stock. Highly recommend these tires. 

These tires look great on my Ford F-250. I have not put a lot of thousands on them yet but so far the handling and feel are top notch. I will post later when I have more thousands on them. 

I’ve driven a 1-ton camper over 30,000 miles on these tires through dust, rain, and snow. I drove over a freaking roundabout with the camper on and the tires still held. I’ve gone out on 4×4 roads in the middle of nowhere of New Mexico that have a 50 degree angle, where the only thing keeping traction are cacti and these tires dude. What more do you need to know?

The media file could not be loaded. Very good tires, they have really met all my expectations, it was the first snowfall in Harrisonburg, Virginia, so I drive very safely leaving behind cars that have not been able to stabilize in the snow.

Good traction. Good mileage. Have owned several sets.

These tires are great have less road noise compared to my last tires. And really look good on my truck

Very good tires, my father in law who works for Michelin explained the benefits of these over the Michelin AT tires. I am happy with them so far and discount tires bought my stock tires, which had 40k on them, so I got a great deal. They were about $235 each installed with 4 replacement certificates. I went from 265-65-18 to 275-65-18 and I could have gone to 275-70-18 but I didn’t want the speedometer to be off too much and those would have rubbed the sound dampening liner.I highly recommend these, I had a set years back on a Jeep and I could get anywhere! I drive over an hour one-way to work on the interstate and the sound is not bad, hardly any humming. I have noticed going to these larger tires about 1-2 mpg less on average. These are beefy tires and they ride very well, on my last truck I had Pirelli Scorpion AT’ 

These tires look and ride great! They can cause the truck to ride a little rougher because of it being an E range tire and having a higher air pressure but if you are looking for a street tire that can get you off-road for some fun without the annoyance of huge mud grips at higher speeds this is the top of the line tire 

Installer advised me that tires were 7 years old. He showed me the manufacturing date. Not listed in ad as new old stock. Would not have bought if I knew this. Feel that I was misled. 

Excellent tires! I’ve put only 2,000 miles on them so far. Conditions I’ve driven thru in central Wisconsin since purchasing: Dry warm roads, light and heavy rain, gravel, mud, light and heavy snow falls and accumulation, and ice covered roads. Thus far I have had zero traction issues. Grips very well in all conditions if you drive properly for said conditions. Road noise is minimal for the aggressive tread design. Going from the stock 4 ply garabage that comes stock to a 10ply E rate tire stiffens up the ride just a hair. Honestly a lot less than I was expecting running them at 41psi for daily driving. With proper maintenance and rotation then tires should last quite a while. I’ll update my review further down the road (pun intended) once I get a decent amount of mileage on them. For now I’m very happy with them. EDIT: 3 years later…. had zero issues with the tires over the last 3 years. They wore even with proper rotations. They do get a bit stiffer once they wear down. I put about 35k miles on them and replaced with about 20% tread left. I do tow a trailer as this is a work truck 90% of the time so they do wear a bit quicker with added weight in the bed and tongue weight. I have been more than happy with them and replaced them with a fresh set of KO2’s a week ago. 

Time for tires on my 2017 GMC 3500 with a single rear axle and factory wheels. These BFG KO2 tires (305/70R18) fit great. I did have to turn the torsion bars up about 1/2 way but I have no rubbing whatsoever. Great looking tire and tremendous durability on and off-road. They were all less than 6 months old based on the date on the tires and I got a better price than Tirerack. I am very satisfied.

I was concerned about road noise. Happy to report no change from the OEM tires. Tires look great on my truck. Recommend the white lettering out if your mechanic asks. Still need to test them driving on the beach, which is why I bought them.

Ordered 4 BF Goodrich All terrain tires. Had them mounted on my pickup by a local tire shop. Drove the pickup for a couple of weeks around town at relatively low speeds, then last weekend took it on the highway and it vibrated terribly. Took it back to my tire shop and they said it looked like one the rear tires was “out of round”, from the manufacturer. I had to locate another tire in a town about 60 miles away to replace the defective tire and pick it up. My window on the return passed about 5 days ago….out $229.00. Will not purchase again and am not only out of the $229, but have to buy another one for about the same price.
