I’ve owned big name tires that came standard on a new car and they would never balance correctly. I’ve had these only a few days and there’s no problem with balancing. They’re not the least expensive but reasonably priced and fit the description of “touring tire”.

Have these on our 2011 Mercury Milan. Good looking tires that ride quietly and wear very well. Excellent traction in the rain and surprisingly good in winter snow/ice. You can certainly buy more expensive tires but it’s hard to beat these RT43’s in performance and value.

The General AltiMAX RT43 Radial Tire (T rated) is CRs top rated all season tire. Tire has a nice profile and runs quiet.Appear to have better snow traction than the Yoko Avid Ascends they replaced.
