Just purchased my second set of these as the first set lasted me for six years believe it or not. They’re still holding up but time to replace them. These tires are great in the rain, and great in the snow. If you could see how worn these tires are on my car and how they held up driving through a rain storm and through deep puddles you would be amazed. I’ve had Goodyears, Kumho’s, and some other brands on the car over the years but nothing has been a perfect match like the Yokohama’s are. I’m extremely particular about my tires as my other car I do racing with and when I want a tire I go for one that can handle what you want to throw at it. These are exactly those tires and knocking on wood can’t believe I’ve never had a flat in 6 years. Dang tires going outlast the life of my car at this rate.

I like these tires and use them for all my cars. They grip the road really well. The only reason I gave a four star rating instead of five stars is that I’ve never even get close to having these last the advertised 65000 miles. In my experience, you are lucky to get 45000 miles before the tread is worn out.

This tire came as original equipment on my 2012 Prius Plug-in. We live in Southwest Florida where it is hot and muggy all year around, so handling in snow is not important. We have had them rotated as per the service instructions and at 43,000 miles they now need to be replaced. So I’ve been hunting and researching to find an appropriate replacement tire. These Yokohama Avids have been reliable, provided good traction, generated virtually no noise or vibration, and have provided excellent fuel mileage. My research has not turned up any other alternative that provides the same advantages at a comparable price. People are generally tough when reviewing their tires and seldom are motivated to write good reviews. After all, we expect and deserve reliable products. So my choice for a replacement tire is the same one that came on my Prius, the Yokohama Avid . No need for me to reinvent the wheel and/or take a chance on a new tire. I feel pretty good about getting 43,000 miles on the first set and the lack of noise and vibration is important to me. I only hope that the tire is built to the same standards now as it was in 2012.

All I’ve ran on my Accord for the past 8 years. Awesome tires in Florida heat, and occasional trips to the wintry north.I wouldn’t think of another brand.

Excellent quality, long lasting and great traction. I bought these for my 2010 Toyota Prius and I’m very satisfied. This is actually my second set of tires they lasted over well over 60k miles.

Terrible wet traction. Snow, forget it. They are quiet though. After 35k I’m looking to replace. Will not buy again.

These tires are well worth the money, this is the only tire I run on all three of my cars and they wear well balance well and ride very smooth, quiet.

I have a love/hate relationship with these tires. I’ve had them on multiple cars over the years. No other tire I’ve tried has ridden as smooth and quiet while still offering the quick grip you’d expect from a more performance-oriented tire. Great wet weather performance as well. It feels like an ideal commuter tire. That said, I’ve yet to have a set last more than 40k miles without needing to be replaced (even with regular rotating.) This last set barely made it past 30k. Part of that is because my commute has changed toward a shorter stop-and-go on curvy, hilly roads. But that’s still pretty poor. That said they’re a great deal so I’m trying to decide whether or not to pull the trigger yet again . . .

Really well-made tire from a brand that can be trusted. A smooth, quiet ride and lots of grip is what I can report thus far. Looks great as well!

Excellent traction and good for speeds up to 60mph. The sidewalls are a bit soft so any highway driving can be a bit challenging to keep a straight line. Most of my driving is highway driving and any wind gusts or passing semis or even cars can make your car sway a lot. I have had Uniroyal, Michelin, Douglas, and Cooper tires and these are the only ones I have had issues with on the highway which I am traveling 70mph plus. My bald Douglas tires handled better on the highway but no traction because the tread was so low.

I’ve put about 20k miles on a set of 4 over 2.5 years. Initially no problems.Tires were rotated every 5k and Odyssey 2010 aligned every 10k

Bought these tires in 2017. I put on a lot of miles on my car every year. Bought these tires to replace the original dealer tires for a 2011 Kia Soul. Currently it has over 256,000 miles. Had tried Cooper tires twice but they barely made it a year, and I had regular tire rotations to boot. Unfortunately, I was just told my tires need replacement (2 years and many, many miles later). Alas, nothing lasts forever, but I sure feel I got my monies’ worth from these. I will be putting in another order for another set soon. I do have to add that I do use snow tires on my Kia Soul. I live in Wisconsin, so snow is an issue. The Kia is just too lightweight and needs something extra in order to handle snowy conditions better, so snow tires it is. I tried driving with these tires one winter. They were okay, but definitely not great in deep snow. But to be fair the Cooper’s were even worse in the snow. So I think it is just a matter of the Kia’s lack of weight that is causing bad traction in snow. Adding snow tires to the Kia made all the difference in the world for winter driving conditions.
